The 1st Annual Metaverse@Venice exhibition｜CryptoZR (Liu Jiaying)
the exhibition CryptoZR: Cookie Cookie was CryptoZR (Liu Jiaying) and I presented in 2021, has been updated to COOKIE COOKIE 2.0 for Venice.
Unfortunately, the artist cannot be present due to the pandemic. Even though Europe is absorbed with war and nuclear deterrents and the pandemic is still ongoing, we will open the show in Venice on April 21, 2022.

“I am Dario Sciascia at Business Consulting Events & Communication. Today we are in Spazio Thetis, taking care of the production of the exhibition CryptoZR: Cookie Cookie 2.0.
As you can see, the structure we have created, is exactly the same colour as the laminated panels located at the venue. We will install 50 monitors of different sizes on the structure, such as the one you see here, in order to fully represent the artworks of the artist.”

“CryptoZR: Cookie Cookie 2.0 is the second version from the last exhibition that CryptoZR (Liu Jiaying) did in the Guardian Art Center in Beijing.
That was in May 2021.CryptoZR (Liu Jiaying) invented the show from her online virtual creations.That was a transformation has been done from a pure virtual conceptual state into a materialized world.”
“Now you see the second version.It’s the second transformation from this materialized world into the the virtual again ,which is like there are 50 screens represent the artist and the artistic creations.”
“This time we try to give a geometrical understanding of how we define space in the virtual space,how we define,how we reflect on the reality and how we understand space in the reality,through the computer,through the computation world.There,ideas accumulate.”
“As I mentioned during the opening, as David Graeber said: ‘Culture is not your friend. Technology is not your friend. ‘Because we all need this critical moment of thinking what we are encounter with, how we call it culture,how we call it technology.This is what artists can give it to us a moment of think and reflect: which have done through technology,through a creation of under-stand, how blockchain, how NFT, how Smart Contract……”
“Everything related with this uprising media,uprising knowledge of things,of thinking,of gathering,of communities,of people,that how everything has developed.This is a show about it.
This is a show about to keep this critical thinking,this critical mind,so called art in the exhibition.”

“Art for me is creation,it is not about creating a physical thing,it is about creating creation itself.There is eternality in art,and crypto art allows this eternality to reach its utmost.Its ideas are hidden, invisible or tangible,waiting to be revealed.
I wasn’t able to be present for the exhibition in Venice but what I wanted to deliver are all in my work.
